"I've had birds cats. Dog I've always been happy with the service from past and my my present pets Thankyou for all you help and advice for many years now. THANKYOU"
"Excellent vets. Very friendly receptionists, good service by the vets and some of the veterinary nurses are even better."
"I spoke to Melanie the other week at 8am on a Sunday morning and due to that conversation she saved our dogs life, she was amazing and spoke to me in a dignified calm manner. Also special mention for Debbie Jones who has shown such outstanding care and compassion for my dogs. Would also like to thank Jo for her great advice over the years she also has been amazing. This practice also saved my other dogs life by diagnosing him with meningitis early. An outstanding practice who have the welfare of animals in their DNA."
"AVOID. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Not only do they discriminate against certain dog breeds, they will over-charge you unnecessarily and the care provided is disgraceful. We have a gorgeous, friendly Rottweiler puppy who suffered with a limp. I went to the vets at Beech House twice about it, the first time the vet (very young and clearly inexperienced) didn’t examine him or his walk and just took my word for it and just prescribed me some anti-inflammatories and sent us out the door in under 5 minutes with no support provided (that cost £100). Naturally, it didn’t get better so we went back and this is where the trouble started. We were met with Joy Allen, who very clearly does not care about animals and has made it very very clear that she does not like Rottweilers specifically. While examining our boy, she repeatedly yanked and squeezed his sore paw and so he growled as he was in pain at which point she screamed and suggested our dog was aggressive and if he carries on she will stop examining him. It’s not like she was examining him anyway, just causing him pain and not getting anywhere with it but I was shook. Our current new vet who has examined our boy was also shook as she deemed him one of the friendliest dogs she’s met. So Joy very clearly doesn’t like Rottweilers and tried to brand our very friendly dog aggressive cause she couldn’t be bothered to examine him and made remarks about her own pet who “is definitely not a Rottweiler though”. Not only that, she prescribed us some eye drops for his itchy eyes (another £100) even though he very clearly had allergies but again, she couldn’t be bothered examining him properly, just wanted us out the door as soon as she’s made money off us. To add to that, she made us pay £60 for some paracetamol and I have since learnt from our new vet that dogs can have human paracetamol from the supermarket, so Joy clearly just enjoys taking advantage of distressed dog owners to make profit. From reading the reviews, we are not alone and this practise is absolute shambles. They just want your money and do not care about animals at all, if you want your pet to be looked after do not go to this vet!!!!! I will be reporting to the Royal College of Vet Surgeons for negligence and lack of care for animals! Absolute SCAM!"
