"I own an elderly BMW 545 Touring which has been in need of urgent help with an oil leak.Higham’s were fantastic in diagnosing the problem and then fixing it.It was a huge job but I had complete confidence in their ability to succeed.Car now runs like a dream and in truth has never been better. These guys are superb!Highly recommended."
"My car died whilst driving on the motorway a week ago. I called them and explained what was wrong with my car and they were very accommodating and got my car booked in quickly. They fixed my car the same day I brought it. Thanks to them I can now drive my car without any issues! Thanks again highams park motor company you guys are awesome!"
"Stuart and the team at Highams Park Motor co were nothing but professional, honest and efficient. They handled my issue at the last minute and kept me up to date and did the repair quickly and with no issues. They also said what i would need in the coming months rather than trying to oversell in the moment which was great to manage expectations. Could not recomend more. I have little car knowledge but knew they were not trying to mis-sell so would reccomend."
"My CL500 nightmare started as soon as I collected the car in April 2021 which was supposed to be a present from my business partner. The car went in to Highams Park Motors in December 2020 due to a clicking noise coming from engine. After a month it was diagnosed with potential timing chain engine issues. My buiness partner who has been a loyal customer at Highams Park Motors and has spent thousands of pounds, approved works as he wanted the car in mint condition to hand over to me. The car was with the garage for almost 3 months before Clive the business owner advised the problem was not timing chain and repairs were all complete. Highams Park Motors charged a whopping £2700 (which included a new glass to driver side at £300). Upon collection I immediately reported a loud clicking noise coming from engine and a new seat belt electrical issue which made putting the seat belt on a 4 step process which included engine off, open door, put on seat belt and then enjoy..! The problem thereafter was your harnessed so tight and the engine sounded like a machine gun firing overtime you touched the accelerator. I met the owner Clive and he sent to to Mercedes in Loughton who advised the engine sounded abnormal. Clive confirmed he would take another look so I left the car with garage again. I called a few times and was made to feel like a irritation or pain..! I remember calling the main number and requesting to speak to Clive. I think his name is Andy who usually answers the main number at reception who was becoming increasingly unprofessional and rude. The last time I called reception Andy confirmed Clive was out and became a bully insisting and asking "when I was going to collect the car" in a aggressive tone. I was upset and only 1 minute away so decided to pop in. To my surprise upon entering reception I found Andy speaking with Clive (the owner who was apparently out)..!! As you can imagine we had 3 surprised faces including mine..!! I could not believe how unprofessional the most senior people were it seems like the culture stems from the top which is a disgrace. After a stern word for catching them out, their unprofessional conduct and poor customer service I left. I collected the car and advised Clive I would be writing this review. With clicking noise still present I had no choice but to cut loss and sell the car. Unfortunately even Webuyanycar declined to buy confirming engine had a loud noise which was not normal which was clear for any experienced mechanic to diagnose. I decided to try the part exchange route and viewed a Bentley Flying Spur. I offered the CL500 to dealer and he immediately advised he had bad news and it was most likely the timing chain. He offered £7,000 and said he would take a chance and I sold him the car just to get rid. I have now purchased a Bentley through another non related dealership when I was not even in the market for a new car had Highams Park Motors done their job. My friend was charged £2700 YES £2700..!! for wrong diagnosis, the car sounded like a machine gun, Clive thought it was OK and normal, I was lied to and advised the owner was not present only to find him in front of me within 60 seconds of me visiting and the customer service were aggressive, unprofessional and offensive. Ironically the CL500 has now been repaired with new timing chain and is silently smooth. The cost of repairs £3500 and the car is now for sale at £17,000. I highly recommend you speak to Clive about my review to see what he has to say and do not believe a word he says unless he takes ownership of his mistake and staff poor service. Hope you enjoy the photos of the CL and my new Bentley as I have nothing to hide."
