"Before I start one star is too much. What the hell is going on with this new system? Anima doesn’t work as it is, everything except self help is greyed out within 20 minutes until the next day when it will be exactly the same. At first I thought Anima would work, people able to book an appointment online whenever they wanted at a time to suit them, I should’ve known better it’s at an absolute joke. I have used this surgery for 40 years and it has been going downhill for years and now it’s rock bottom. I’ve looked at moving to a different surgery but what’s the point when they all use Anima. For goodness sake, and for suffering patients do something about this."
"Appalling surgery! This surgery has never been up to standard, however, after now amalgamating with another 7 surgeries and using the 'Anima' system they are an utter disgrace. You go online each morning only to find that there are messages on each link stating 'Practice at capacity, not taking new requests'. It appears that this new system has been very poorly managed, surely the management realised that there would be high demand when they are now dealing with over 53,000 patients. There is no empathy towards the patients and their needs. When you do manage to speak to a GP after being 92nd in the telephone queue, you then wait approximately 2/3 days for a response from a GP who then rushes you, therefore, not listening properly and stating they will ring you back, but don't, therefore you go back into another queue. The only service they can offer you is a repeat medication which is fine if you do not have a new problem. It took me 11 days to receive a prescription for acute medication!!! I noted their CQC Report states 'Overall requires improvement', this was not a surprise. After being with this GP Practice for 42 years enough is enough and we have now registered with a new GP. It has been a sheer delight, I have spoken to a real person after being only 4th in the queue and was then given an appointment to actually GO INTO the surgery, offered flu vaccines, Covid vaccines - wonderful!!!! Finally feel like we have found a GP Practice that cares!"
"My partner Samantha smallman has had loads of health issues last 14months, for which the hospital and Dr cornish who has been very helpful. She went to hospital on December 5th for heert scan to be told needed beta blockers it is now 11 days later still awaiting them. When try ringing 8am you are 98th in queue. Might get quicker response this way l"
"Awful surgery! The only reason I registered here was because I was in a rush as I was moving home when pregnant - I regret not checking the reviews before registering and choosing a doctor's surgery. I'm looking to register at another, better surgery. The reception staff are rude (Gail at Whiteheath did it for me today with how rude she was and her tone) and go on like they are professional doctors and the most annoying thing is that they are not happy to help or try to."
"This is a terrible surgery. Misdiagnosed my Nan 3 times who unfortunately lost her life. I’m currently 28 weeks pregnant only had 4 appointments dues to cancelled appointments and midwives going on annual leave and not covering appointments. You can never get through on the phone and when you do no appointments. The receptionists think they are qualified doctors. As soon as doctors surgeries are taking on new patients I l will be leaving!!!!"
