"Very disappointed with the collection experience for this charity. The furniture was in good condition and had the fire labels attached but they refused to take my sofas due to the leather being slightly faded. Were they expecting brand new? How fussy and ungrateful can a charity be? To anyone wanting to donate I’d say don’t bother! What a waste of time."
"I was impressed with the quality ot the items on sale in the shop and purchased just what I was looking for. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend you to family and friends. Well done for doing such a good job. Thank you."
"I couldn't be more pleased with the is I have frequently purchased from BHF. The staff both in the shop and the delivery people have always been great, polite, informative and knowledgeable. The store items are good quality - no 'tat' - in my view. Prices are good and it means my money is going to a worthy cause. Thanks Wakefield British Heart Foundation."
"Message for the CEO of this charity shop! As a recent real customer who spent few ££ in that horrible shop, all i can say is this: The worst charity shop in Wakefield! The employees are rood, lazy and they do not care abut customers! They have no idea what job they have or what they suppose to do at work. Some of the workers made fun of me and my partner, laughed at as and pushed us to get out from the shop even if the shop was open. Shame on you! None of these people deserve such a nice job! I will never ever buy or visit your shop again! I wil also inform all my family and friends about this. Good day!"
"The last two pick-up experiences for both the furniture, and the shop have been awful. I've had two different male drivers on two different occasions, and to both of them I've said to wait outside the door and not to come in. Both times my requests were ignored and they wandered into my flat uninvited, and after politely asking them to go back outside at least twice (can you leave and go back outside the door) they ignored me. I had to literally shout at them to leave and they were offended! I will not be potentially 'trapped' in my flat with a stranger, especially when they fail to listen. That's a scary position to be in. I also handed a box to one of the men. It had 'fragile' written on it in big letters because it contained a China tea set. He took it from me and then opened his hands to let it fall to the floor. It wasn't an accident. This was after I'd explained about staying outside so I'm not sure if was just behaving like child in response. I've been a gift aider for a couple of years but i think I'll donate elsewhere as this has happened twice now. BHF - you need to train your volunteers/staff to be mindful about health & safety but also to listen. If a customer says not to come inside then they shouldn't!"
