"Alwsys take my car there for its mot there polite n do a crackin job"
"I've been taking my van there for a few years, ok service, only issue was a 1 day job will often turn into a fortnight. But I took my van for an MOT and he failed it on all brakes all round which was strange as they'd just been renewed by vauxhall. He wouldn't release the van saying it wasn't roadworthy, paid a fortune to have him fix it, then when I collected it the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with errors. I asked about him and was told that's what he does if the windscreen water had run out, which it had. I didn't go back for him to fix the errors as I knew he would charge me another fortune and probably mess with something else while he was there."
"Sold me a car with a 12 month mot with no adviseries which was mot'd at his garage. A week after I was paying to have new front shocks fitted cause they were so badly corroded and new brakes too. I was sold the car with a 3 month warranty which the garage refused to honour too. There's no way that car should have passed the mot and the owner knew full well I was using the car to drive my kids about"
"I Have been using DAG garage on The Cale Lane industrial estate for several years now. I previously used their garage in Aspull , close to where we live which was a Father and Son business. I have just had my BMW serviced at a great price ( I was quoted 4 times the price by a BMW dealership ) And yesterday phoned Martin , to say, we had forgotten our 2nd cars MOT was about to expire in one day. Martin was extremely helpful , and said he would juggle his jobs and make sure we got our car MOTd in time. I have always found this garage to be professional , polite and helpful , and would recommend them to family , friends and future customers. Gary Dever. Aspull Wigan"
"I had 2 jobs done 2 weeks ago. a diagnostic for engine management light and trouble starting. had a new battery fitted (still struggling starting so not the issue) and diagnostic/fuel additive did not extinguish engine management light. £130 total for not fixing 2 items. not really a massive issue until I called up just now. I explained the problems and that I had to get a DPF specialist to fix the EML at an additional cost. His reply on the phone was "what the **** do you want me to do!" I was really shocked and asked him to mind his language. he said "why the **** should I when you are criticising my work!" 2 jobs for £130 that were not fixed - I don't need to criticise your work, it speaks for itself. I used to take my car to this guys dad who used to run the business when they were in Aspull. will not be taking it back. Ever."
