"We have had our Comptons garage since 1984, and extended the length of it to accommodate two cars in 1994. We had the old style corrugated asbestos roof, and after so many years was starting to look shabby, and thought it was time to get it upgraded. We contacted Comptons along with another provider for quotes. As we bought the garage originally from Comptons we were keen to have them replace the roof; however their quote was more expensive, but they were happy to price match, and we were more than happy to place the order. Having just come out of Lockdown #1 we were given a date for the work to be completed in October, this had to be altered as there was an issue with obtaining the roofing panels due to reduction in manufacturing during Lockdown. A new date in January 2021 was given, when Lockdown #3 was announced we were afraid that the date would be delayed again, but luckily construction work was still able to go ahead, and we got our lovely new roof. The team that carried the work out were fantastic, very polite and friendly. Very professional and competent at their work, quickly removing the old roof and getting the new on with new barge boards and facias in place. Our 34 foot long garage transformed in less than 3 hours, it was amazing to watch them work. They removed all debris from site, sweeping the garage inside and out, leaving everything clean and tidy. You wouldn’t have known they had been on site, apart from our smart new roof, barge boards and facias."
