"The guys at the Gadget Xchange were very professional and helpful. The service was excellent and had the best prices for electronic repair in the area. I'm very happy with the outcome, and would recommend their services to anyone in need. Oksana."
"Very unfriendly service. A moment after I stepped in, the employee started throwing some attitudes at me for no reason. Honestly, that's fine as long as I get what I want. I told the employee that I needed an adaptor or converter (I didn't know what to call at first, so I asked him for help) to fit my 110v MacBook charger to 240v, but he simply told me to look online. And I was like okay. And then, I was looking for a 240v charger block to connect my iPhone charger for a couple of days. However, he tried to scam me with the most expensive one in the store, which I refunded 10 minutes later. I still had to argue with the employee in the process of refund. The owner or manager eventually said sorry about "miscommunication," but I think it's just funny to hear that. What a joke. After the horrible experience at Gadget Xchange, I went to Mini Phone Shop, which is right next to this store. The employee from that store was very friendly and willing to help me with what I was looking for. He even got me with the cheaper charger block. I strongly recommend going to Mini Phone Shop if possible (especially if you're a tourist/foreigner) because these guys try to rip off foreigners who don't know much about this area, and that's how they maintain their business."
"Thanks guys! Took my 2nd hand PS4 (from ebay) to them as it sounded like a plane was taking off in my room - after the lab cleaned it up and soldered the motherboard it is completely silent! Works like a dream. Would definitely go to Sam and the team again."
"I brought my iPhone to have the screen fixed; as the prices were competitive and they promised to have the phone ready within the hour, I gave them the chance. As soon as the screen was fixed, they offered an extra screen protector; which I didn’t buy. I put the phone in my handbag and when I arrived home the screen had scratches already. The screen is not good quality and gets scratched easily. I went back to the shop to let them know about the issue and I was told that since I bought no screen protector I should be paying for a new screen if I wanted it replaced"
"I cracked my Samsung Android screen. The worker I gave the phone to gave me a call a day later. Saying he needs extra money to get the screen fixed. Going from 60 to 90 pounds. I agreed as I just wanted my phone fixed as soon as possible. Coming into the store two days later from the phone call. I was given a phone with a tinted blue screen, and a slight beam of light shining out of the side of the screen, as it was not put on properly. When I brought this up the guy was rude and blunt. I paid for my phone and left the place unhappy with the terrible repair job they done on my phone. The place is sketchy and unprofessional. Would not at all to anyone."
