Reviews
"Looking for a waldrobe, the items on offer were badly scratched and in a poor condition handles broken or hinge not attached, settees dirty and quiet frankly seen better on a skip"
"Nostalgic! I popped into the shop in Croydon to check for a study desk for my aunt, and I ended up by the DVD display. OMG, how times have changed. I am grabbing some DVDs you should pop in too."
"Bought a coffee table from here with a steel frame and a mango wood top. Was a nice piece of furniture at a reasonable price. This was delivered very efficiently; even after I changed the date for delivery, there was no fuss. Would recommend."
"I went there to try to get a cheaper coffee table than the proper furniture stores. I was so surprised, it’s all used and priced like new! I will be going T K maxx, it’s cheaper there for brand new. I really wanted to help out a charity, and I remember like 5 years ago when I was a student we got most of our furniture from charity shops for 20-50 bucks a piece for much bigger items than this. Even ikea is cheaper! No wonder the shop was deserted from people… Overall, it was a waste of a trip and I am very disappointed. I think they forgot what is the purpose of a charity shop!"
"Awful customer service. Refused to sell me an item on the shop floor for the ticketed price as they had decided to sell it on ebay. Then tried to guilt-trip me by implying I should be happy to pay more than the item is worth online as they were 'sure I'd want the charity to get as much money as possible'. They've now listed it twice for an extortionate price and both times it hasn't had any bids, so the charity has lost money thanks to the incompetence of staff. The money would have only gone towards the CEO's £200,000 salary, so maybe it's for the best."
