"Staff were chatting together on the shop floor and when asking a member of staff if they were busy they replied yes, then started to walk away. Asked if they could find someone who wasn't so we could find help to buy a computer, however no one came over. Eventually found a member of staff however all four computers we were interested in were not in stock and one of the display computers was discontinued and no longer available to purchase."
"We visited on a week day, and really did not think much of the service provided. The first two 'experts' I approached really did not want to help. First one told me to go ask another person, and the second man really couldn't be bothered. Asked him to explain stuff without too much jargon as not tech-savie, and he looked at me like I was stupid! I then asked him specific information about the product I was after, and he just looked the stuff up online and recited what was there. When I questioned his knowledge around the products he then said it wasn't his 'thing'! I then asked if he couldn't help who could, and he just shrugged his shoulders.... Honestly a huge waste of my time!! I asked the next person, who again told me he couldn't help, but did at least tell me who could help. But he was busy with another client, and we had to wait another 40 minutes until he was free (I do not have a problem with him taking his time with his client, but it does seem silly that there was only 1 expert on duty!) And then there was limited stock, so I couldn't actually get the product I wanted!! A very frustrating, and annoying visit to the store!"
"I’ve given this shop so many chances, but this time enough is enough. Going into a shop requesting help (after 15 mins of walking around with staff walking past you), only to be passed on to someone else is beyond annoying. It’s obvious customer service is not on the priority list for staff here, so no wonder this company has been affected in recent years. Just to be clear, this is not staff selling on behalf of a particular brand either, no, this is regular staff. On their phones or having conversations and totally ignoring customers that want to make a purchases. Good luck to you with this approach, I’m off to one of your many competitors for a better all around experience and I’m sure they will gladly take my custom. On their website if you copy the model of a product it immediately does a price comparison. But what’s the point? It’s not cheaper than elsewhere (from my experience) nor a better experience, so what’s the point? This is from someone genuinely wanting to shop locally."
"Curry's electrical store has a good variety of almost everything electrical for your home over two floors. Reasonable priced depending on what your price range is. What I did find on this visit there seem to be low on stock as quite a few shelves were empty."
"Its a big store, so typically has stock of the items. The TV guys do tend to push a particular brand, so not sure if its because of the commission or genuinely better. Generally the guys are helpful and there are plenty of them around. Has good free parking"
