"I took me car in for a service at this garage and the seal on the fuel filter was changed and nicked by mistake. This caused a leak of diesal fuel onto the fan belt that then destroyed it. This caused me to breakdown and have to be towed to a closed garage in the village of Belsay near Newcastle by the RAC. This was the jubilee weekend so everything was shut. I then missed 2 days work on the sunday and monday and the new garage repair cost me an extra £100 (changing the damaged seal and new fan belt replacement ). So the service performed at the garage although im sure well intentioned has cost me £300 in missed work and further repairs. I can provide all the evidence to account for this so I would be cautious about approaching this garage."
