Welcome to Whitelock's Ale House, a historical institution located in the heart of Leeds, United Kingdom. Established in 1715, our bar has been serving the finest, hand-crafted ales and delicious food for over three centuries. Located in Turk's Head Yard, our pub is not just a place to grab a drink or a bite to eat, but a point of interest that tells the story of Leeds' rich history.

Reviews
"Very pleasant traditional pub, apparently the oldest in Leeds. First licences in 1715. Lovely food. We had the haddock and chips plus a Nut roast. Both very good. They served a tasty Guinness too."
"Proper boozer this one. Loved the place. Obviously very popular with the locals. Has a great atmosphere and good beer selection. Food looked good, but I was here just for the beverages. Must stop in when in Leeds."
"Been here many times. It is a must visit pub. Long and narrow and cosy. Great beer and food. Can get really busy and on this trip we went next door before trying again. Casta had Thornbridge Sequoia. Definitely a pub you could spend hours in with good friends."
"A must if in Leeds, good selection of beer & very nice pub grub. Outside seating if busy inside the pub. Top tip, book a table for lunch/dinner. Staff 10/10."
"This place does the best roast dinner in Leeds City centre, the beef is cooked perfectly, add that to homemade yourkies, roast potato's and seasonal veg, and you have the perfect food for soaking up that amazing selection of hand pulled beer."
