"The worst experience ever. Be aware they only take cash payments in 2023 but this is the smallest part of it. I arrived there 30 minutes before my appointment and I've been asked to wait outside the building( it was heavily raining). No empathy from the security guy in charge( who by the way: did not speak Romanian). Finally 11:00,( the time of my appointment). I've been redirected upstairs where it comes another shock!!Another I would say 25-30 people waiting for their turn. I have been told by the security upstairs that I have to wait for my turn ( security guy who was acting like a joker and speaking English and Spanish? But not Romanian and calling the ones skipping the queue idiots). I don't see the point of making an appointment months in advance, just to go there and wait another 2 hours! This is ridiculous. People were not following the queue and no system in place to call the names of the people who were meant to be next. The only good thing I would say it was the professionalism of the gentleman who processed my passport papers. Your colleagues should learn from you."

"Worst experience ever. Had an unpleasant meeting with Mr Marius who had no respect. The appointment are not respected and people without appointment just go in front of other appointments. And the biggest surprise is that you need to pay cash. The entrance looks bad and ignored. I pretend from a EU country to respect them people and take care of the place."

"Been here before for passport renewal. Several car parks in the area, easily accessible (central Manchester). Quite busy as they offer a big range of services."

"The staff dealing with processing of applications were really friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Only took 20 minutes for my passport renewal application. However, one issue I had was with the guy administering paperwork before entering the main room who was unhelpful and impolite when asking for advice by being sarcastic at my questions and unhelpful when I asked what I need to do next as if there was an expectation to know the building! Apart from that, the guy processing my passport application couldn’t have been more helpful and important to mention. Many thanks."

"I have been to the consulate to collect my new passport and to ask for help regarding a visa for my girlfriend. I interracted with a few staff members and in the end I was really happy and satisfied after receiving good customer service. The young guy from the passport desk number 6 was really nice, calm and pleasant. I have to mention Amalia, who was very professional and patient while explaining to me and helping me understand what was needed for the VISA process. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP AND CARE WHICH RESULTED IN A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT THE CONSULATE!!!"
