"It was my first time in Yami and I was really looking forward to trying their bossam. However, it came in huge chunks and with no tools to cut it. I've never seen bossam being served in this manner before. The kimchi and side dishes were good but the bossam had too much fat and far too thick, even after we cut it ourselves, making it difficult to eat. We also got the jaeuk bokkum (spicy fried pork), seafood pancakes, and tofu soup. Out of the five dishes we ordered, the seafood pancakes and chicken were good and would recommend. The tofu soup also had good flavour but the texture of the tofu was odd. It was supposed to be soft but was kind of chewy and off putting. The flavour of the jaeuk bokkum was also good but the texture of the pork let it down and maybe could have been better with longer time on the pan. Overall, the flavours of everything was good and had potential to be better. But the meal definitely wasn't worth the price we paid. They were very busy as it was a Sunday so maybe they were rushed for time that day. I think the menu size is too large for the number of staff at the time we visited."
"Food here is excellent, wide variety of Korean food. Service here can be a little confusing for passerby or the uninitiated. Portion here are very generous and well worth the money. Be prepared to smell of meat after due to BBQ. Extra points for free sides."
"Food was a bit of hit and miss. Sashimi, fried chicken, and spicy seafood soup was good. But the pork rice and kimchi fried rice was I think spoilt or tasted so bad we had to drop it without eating much. The service was quite poor they didn’t bother to explain or appreciate. Anyway given the food was good and a place you can visit for a decent food."
