"Amazing food, it was my first time here and I would definitely recommend it. I wasn’t feeling so well, so I decided to get the soft tofu jigae and it definitely hit the spot ! With other dishes on the side. The staffs was also friendly and welcoming. :)"
"Good value for money! They have special menus that match with the season. I had the Gamjatang which is my favorite food to have during winter times. Not the most authentic taste but still hit the spot! Banchans were quite good. My friend got the Jjajangmyeon which was also good!"
"The Kimchi pancake and kimchi fried rice was amazing. The fried chicken was a bit too tough to bite into and took a long time to chew but the flavour was nice. I will definitely visit again when I’m craving Korean food."
"I wasn't sure about this place, the reviews were either applauding or scathing, especially with regards to the service. After being seated and waiting for 10 minutes to at least order drinks I was beginning to feel that perhaps I should have heeded the reviews. Admittedly there was only one waitress on duty but the restaurant was myself and two other tables so it wasn't busy. After 15 minutes the waitress finally arrived and took our food and drinks order. I'm not sure what happened but after that everything just gelled. The drinks came within 5 minutes and the starters arrived not long after that. The food was hot and tasty and was consumed with gusto by my wife and myself. The BBQ meats arrived not long after the empty starter plates were cleared and I have to admit, it was one of the best bulgogi's I've had even if I did cook it myself. This was my wife's first experience with Korean dining and already she's planning the menu for our next visit."
"We went to Sorabol for lunch first time based on its 4.1 google score and we were disappointed by the service provided, especially the Korean BBQ part. All dishes up to that point were good. The waiter seems to need some additional training as he didn’t know how to work the gas fire. Should be basic intro training and to stop burning of foods. We kept on requesting for the side dishes that should come with the BBQ as standard i.e. lettuce, spring onions, dipping sauces. The lettuce (photo) provided was poor (old). We kept on requesting for more and the waiter stated ‘we are looking for it’ in the kitchen. After asking 4 times (the final time was a different waiter) we finally got some, which in the end was slightly too late and we still paid the extra. Looking back we wasn’t given the garlic & chilli side and were missing other dipping sauces. BBQ meats were marinated well but overall we will go to other Korean BBQ places in New Malden instead."
