"First visit today for a Sunday roast. We both had the lamb which was amazing. Service was superb, will definitely be back to try the normal menu. Had a roast dinner takeaway yesterday and it was just as good as our dining in experience our go to roast place now and hopefully Xmas day ! Been tonight for there American themed menu, I had the burger girlfriend had Ribs and we shared BBQ wings, buffalo wings and mozzarella fries , every thing was superb. We really love this place the staff are amazing and welcome your custom. The chefs are brilliant. You must try this place the roasts are better than when the parlour used to do them. Still the best roast dinner around just been again today ! Superb ingredients and cooked to perfection, I always have a cauliflower extra is it's sublime."
"Everyone raved about the Sunday roast... All descriptions start with cauliflower cheese. None to be seen. We ordered extra portions of pigs in blankets, undercooked. Which was a shame, we took them home and re-cooked them and they were really flavourful. The Yorkshire pudding looked delicious, but the bottom must have been sat in the oil for ages, as it had soaked it all up. Inedible. £9 for a burger without any sides... NINE POUND. To top it off we asked for a high chair for baby which looked like it had never been wiped down. We got a spray and wiped it down ourselves. The chicken was very flavourful, and mash too. However, you don't get much of it."
"Good service but everything just seemed a bit chaotic. We had the Sunday roast which sadly came out way too quick for the price, and we were right - instant mash and very undercooked vegetables. The portion sizes were great, but it would have been better with less done amazing than lots done mediocre. The gravy and Yorkshire Pudding saved it! As somewhere local I’ve had my eye on to visit, it’s sad to see somewhere which clearly had a lot of effort gone into be spoiled over time. Examples: commissioned wall art covered by children’s scribbles, faux ivy and wood lattice everywhere, loud TV adverts with nothing to watch, and sticky tables and menus. What to say - average with room for improvement?"
"Not a great experience. The 'lamb rump' for £17 (expensive restaurant price territory) was fatty (not what you'd expect from supposed rump), cold and served with thick salty gravy which ruined the food. Manager or chef couldn't even be bothered to come apologise and still wanted to charge us for the full meal. They also seem to be storing food in a toilet? which I had to move to allow people in to move stuff in/out the food storeroom... Needless to say won't be back in a hurry!"
"Amazing place! My Girlfriend and I come here weekly and we always love the food, all the veg always tastes so freash and the portions are great with the customer service is excellent as they always go above and beyond to ensure you are happy, even when they make a mistake they will aways make up for it! I would highly recommend the Sunday roasts!"
