Her daughter, Violet Sutton, later transformed the cottage into Sutton's Corner Store after her husband's passing and her mother's death. Over the years, this place has undergone several transformations. In 1974, new owners turned the buildings into a licensed cafe known as the Crab & Anchor. In 1994, the Brown family took over and rebranded it as Cafe Pronto. Now, in 2017, we are thrilled to introduce The Bridge Garden Bar & Restaurant, a comfortable tavern environment that pays homage to the history of this beloved location.
