Welcome to Spark Theatre, a dedicated performing arts venue located in the heart of Ballarat Central, Alfred Deakin Place. As an establishment and point of interest, our mission is to provide a platform for the incredible talent that resides in Ballarat and showcase their stories and voices. One of the challenges faced by our city is the absence of a medium-sized venue (150-200 seats) to showcase local talent. At Spark Theatre, we aim to fill this void by creating a home for the talented individuals in our community. Our goal is to establish a permanent venue, but in the meantime, we will be activating existing spaces for short seasons.
