Welcome to OPSA, the Otago Polytechnic Students' Association, located at Filleul Street in Dunedin, New Zealand. OPSA is an independent organization dedicated to supporting students and promoting their overall well-being during their time as students.

At OPSA, our team of health professionals is committed to ensuring that all students have access to quality healthcare. The Student Health Centre, managed by our dedicated staff, provides consultations at a nominal fee of $15 for students who have paid the Student Health Levy as part of their fees. If you have a current Community Services card, consultations are free of charge. However, if you haven't paid the levy, the consultation fee is $40. Please note that additional charges may apply for certain procedures.

In case of urgent medical needs outside of our operating hours, Dunedin Urgent Doctors and Accident Centre, located at 18 Filleul Street, is available from 8.00pm to 10.00pm on weekends and holidays. However, please be aware that there is a fee associated with seeing a doctor at this facility. For emergencies during the night, the Emergency Department at Dunedin Hospital, situated at 201 Great King Street, operates from 10.00pm to 8.00am on weekends and holidays.
