Welcome to the Camberley Community Centre, located at Kiwi Street in Camberley, New Zealand. Our center is a vibrant hub for the local community, offering a wide range of activities and events for people of all ages.

At the Camberley Community Centre, we prioritize the well-being of our residents. Our dedicated team is here to support, mentor, facilitate, and assist the people of Camberley in any way we can. Whether you're looking to meet new people, learn new skills, or simply have some fun, our center is the perfect place for you.

Throughout the year, we host a diverse range of events and classes. From line dancing and sport Hawkes Bay fitness classes to free sewing classes and an employment hub, there is something for everyone. We aim to cater to all members of our community, from the youngest to the oldest. Some activities are organized by our center team, while others are put on by community groups.

During the school term, we run a breakfast club for students from 8am to 8.45am, providing them with a wholesome breakfast to start their day off right. In the afternoons, our center transforms into 'Whare Aroha,' a drop-in space for children and teenagers. It's a fantastic place to meet friends, play games, and have fun. Additionally, during school holidays, we offer youth activities to keep the kids entertained.

We believe in bringing the community together, which is why we provide classes and events nearly every day during school terms. These activities are designed to cater to a wide range of interests and age groups. If you have an idea for an activity, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate it.

In addition to our regular programs, we also run a food rescue program every Monday from 3pm to 4pm. This initiative is led by our staff and a group of dedicated volunteers. We provide prepacked food for anyone in the Hawkes Bay community to access, with no criteria. We are always in need of reusable shopping bags, so please consider bringing some along.

Our community center is a versatile venue that can accommodate a variety of activities. With a single-storey space of approximately 165 square meters, decks at the front and back, and kitchen facilities including a fridge, oven, microwave, hot water zip, and spacious serving counter, we have everything you need for a successful event. The center can host up to 165 people, and we have parking available for 20 vehicles.
