Welcome to Anglican Family Care, located at 266 Hanover Street in Dunedin, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing professional social, therapeutic, and restorative justice support to the tamariki (children) and whānau (families) of Otago.

At Anglican Family Care, we understand the importance of ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of children. That is why we visit families in their homes and work closely with parents to provide the necessary support and guidance they need. Our goal is to empower parents and help them create a nurturing environment for their children.

In addition to our home-visiting services, we also offer counselling to parents and play therapy to both children and adults. We believe that by addressing the emotional and psychological needs of the entire family, we can foster a positive and supportive environment for everyone involved.

One of the programs we are proud to offer is Family Start. This home-visiting program focuses on improving various aspects of a child's life, including their growth and health, learning and relationships, family circumstances, environment, and safety. Family Start is designed to assist whānau who may be facing challenges or problems that make it difficult for them to care for their baby or young child.

We also provide a community-based justice process known as restorative justice. This process allows victims of a crime to actively participate in addressing the harm done and work towards finding realistic solutions with the offender. By facilitating this dialogue, we aim to bring about healing and reconciliation within the community.

At Anglican Family Care, we are constantly looking for ways to expand our caregiver team and provide opportunities for Dunedin whānau to recharge and take care of themselves.
