With 38 years of experience as a Court lawyer, I have successfully handled over 3,000 cases in the Courts and Tribunals of New Zealand. In recognition of my expertise, I was awarded the New Zealand Law Society Litigation Skills Diploma in 1987. Additionally, I became a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society in 2018.

Beyond my legal career, I am a published author, with my most recent book, "Umberto Nobile and the Arctic Search for the Airship Italia," being published by Fonthill in 2017. I am also a regular contributor to New Zealand aviation magazines, demonstrating my extensive knowledge and passion for the field.

Holding a Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane) and a 'B' category instructor rating, I have accumulated over 3,000 hours as a pilot in command. Additionally, I hold a Qualified Glider Pilot Certificate, a 'C' category glider instructor rating, and a glider towing rating.
