Welcome to the Little Theatre, located at 76 McGrath Street in Napier, New Zealand. As an establishment and point of interest, the Little Theatre is proud to be the home of the renowned Napier Repertory Players Inc. Since its inception in 1933, Napier Repertory has solidified its position as one of the longest-running community theatre groups in the Hawke's Bay region.
As a not-for-profit organization, Napier Repertory is dedicated to promoting and nurturing the performing arts in our local community. Throughout the year, we offer a diverse range of theatre productions that cater to various interests and age groups. One highlight is our participation in the Hawke's Bay Art Deco Festival, where we showcase performances that pay homage to the elegance and glamour of the Art Deco era.
In addition to our regular productions, we also have Studio Productions that aim to foster growth in our adult performers and provide a platform for new directors to showcase their talent. These performances offer a unique and intimate experience for both the cast and the audience, allowing for experimentation and exploration.
We firmly believe in supporting the next generation of performers, which is why we have Youth Productions specifically developed to encourage and nurture young local talent. Through these productions, we aim to provide opportunities for young individuals to further themselves in the performing arts and embark on a journey towards their dreams.

Led by the artistic vision of Adrienne Hurley, Hayley Munro, Edward, and Glenn Cook, our talented team ensures that each performance is a memorable and captivating experience for all.

"What an awesomely classic theatre..... Almost vintage like. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. There is a ramp if stairs are difficult. Good new aircon unit. Theres a spare loo outside incase insides busy. Refreshments priced under 10. Alcohol and non under 4. Savoury snacks can be ordered preshow for half time.. pizza slice. Pringle chips and choc bars can be enjoyed during show"
