Prescriptions play a crucial role in your well-being, and our pharmacists ensure that they are dispensed correctly and that the medication and dosage are appropriate for you. We aim to help you understand your prescribed medicines, including their purpose, dosage instructions, potential side effects, and proper storage.

Most of our services are provided free of charge, and appointments are not generally required. We also offer a safe disposal service for expired or unwanted medicines, as well as needles, lancets, and syringes.

Please note that on public holidays, such as King's Birthday, Hawke's Bay Anniversary, Labour Day, Waitangi Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, and ANZAC Day, we will be closed.

Additionally, we are proud to offer a service to assess minor health conditions, such as diarrhoea, dehydration, minor skin and eye conditions, and pain/fever symptoms. Our pharmacists can provide health advice, supply medicines if recommended, and refer you to another health service if necessary. From Monday 12 June to Sunday 30 September, this service, including recommended medicines, will be free for eligible patients, including Maori and Pacific people, children under 14, and Community Services Card holders.
