"Sunday 2nd July: On the 26th April, 2023, I visited Specsavers, Napier due to having difficulties with reading and driving because of severe blurring. I had my eyes tested and was told no changes were needed and to continue with current glasses. As I was still struggling with day to day activities and driving, I sought a 2nd opinion and was advised I needed cataract surgery on my left eye. I was also told, I have RE moderate capsular opacification and lens changes in my right eye, which requires laser surgery. The optometrist said this would greatly improve my eye sight. I am so disappointed with the service from Specsavers."
"Found the Palmerston North branch quite good. I thought Napier service was unfriendly, incompetent, slack, and disingenuous. In the end got better glasses from the $2 shop."
"Not happy or impressed. We had an appointment for 9.45. We travelled from an 1.5 hours away, the roads were terrible. At 9.20am we called from the road stating that we would be 10 minutes late and were told by a man that would be fine. Upon arrival (5 minutes late) we were told that we could not be seen and could come back in 1.5 hours. Im sure you have many excuses but please note that I will not be back and would prefer to go anywhere but NAPIER SPECSAVERS. Perhaps your staff should talk to eachother before making false promises to customers that travel."
