Welcome to Central Kids Rushton Road Kindergarten, located in Morrinsville, New Zealand. Our establishment is a point of interest, offering a rich learning environment both inside and outside. Situated amidst mature trees and a beautiful playground, our kindergarten embraces nature and provides a welcoming, challenging, captivating, informative, comforting, and inspiring space for children and adults alike.

At Central Kids Rushton Road, our dedicated teaching team is committed to following the principles of Te Whāriki and Te Whatu Pokeka. We regularly engage in professional learning to ensure that our teaching philosophy, known as Whakaaro Nui, is current and reflective. This supports a positive learning attitude and atmosphere, fostering a willingness, readiness, and ability to learn.

We offer school day sessions from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, as well as a half-day option on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The half-day sessions are available either from 8:30 am to 12 noon or from 12 noon to 2:30 pm.

Our commitment to Bi-cultural practice ensures that each child, whānau (family), and teaching team member has a place to stand and belong. We welcome everyone to visit us and experience our inclusive and supportive environment. Nau mai haere mai!

Our fees, after government entitlements, are $5.00 per hour. We believe in fostering strong community connections and are proud to have partnerships with the Tokoroa Early Learning Centre. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Pelorus Trust for their support in providing new blinds at Tūrangi Kindergarten.
