Welcome to Busy Bees Morrinsville! Located on State Highway 26 in rural Morrinsville, our establishment is a vibrant and engaging learning center for children aged 0-6 years. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and grow through social interaction.

At Busy Bees Morrinsville, our experienced and passionate kaiako (teachers) bring their unique knowledge and expertise to support every child and whanau (family) that enters our whare ako (learning house). Each kaiako has been carefully selected based on their experience in the Early Learning field, their understanding of child development, and their commitment to nurturing young tamariki (children).

We strongly value and nurture whanaungatanga (relationships) within our center. We believe that strong connections with our beloved whanau and tamariki are essential for creating a positive and supportive learning environment. Our approach is centered around being responsive to each child's individual needs and treating them as the unique individuals they are.

In addition to our comprehensive early learning program, we also offer a fantastic transition-to-school program called Pathways to Kura. This program is designed to prepare our tamariki for their journey into primary school by familiarizing them with aspects of school life and practicing important skills such as self-help, early mathematics and literacy, and motor development.

We are proud to hold the Whānau (Silver) Healthy Heart Award, which recognizes our commitment to promoting healthy eating and physical activity practices. Our talented cook prepares nutritious and delicious meals using fresh and wholesome ingredients, avoiding processed foods and excessive sugar.

Our Te Pihinga space is dedicated to the care and development of children up to 2 years old. We prioritize the establishment of safe and secure relationships between tamariki and kaiako, providing a nurturing environment where children can feel a sense of belonging and develop at their own pace.

In Ruma Te Puaawai, our space for children aged 2-6 years, we offer a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment filled with endless resources for exploration. Our aim is to foster a child-led and play-based learning environment that encourages creativity, independence, and a sense of belonging.
