"These were the best chips I had ever had in my entire life. I was visiting Tauranga for the weekend and chose this place for dinner for two of those nights, best decision I had ever made. Sure the chips are a little more expensive than back in Christchurch but they are so worth it, and you get 4 different options of chips to choose from being; Fresh Cut Potato, Shoestring, Kumara and Wedges all for $5 a scoop. They had the best battered sausage I've ever had and they also sell this little Lasagna Square for $3 and I miss that more than anything now that I'm back home, it was so delicious. The owner was also really cool and struck a good conversation and hit me with a compliment towards my wallet, I've never felt more connected to a fish and chip shop in my life and that was just in 2 days. I had been shopping at one other fish and chip shop for nearly 2 decades and I don't nearly have enough of a positive connection with them as I did with the guys here. I want to go back to Tauranga just for this store. No Joke."
