Welcome to Rangiora Racecourse, located at Fernside, Lehmans Road, 312. As one of New Zealand's premier harness racing clubs, we are dedicated to providing our members with exceptional value and benefits. The Rangiora Harness Racing Club Committee greatly appreciates the support of our members and continuously strives to enhance the advantages they receive.

Our rich history dates back to 1946 when Mr C Archer convened a public meeting, resulting in the formation of the Rangiora Trotting Club, later renamed the Rangiora Harness Racing Club. Since then, we have grown to become one of New Zealand's leading harness racing clubs, holding permits from the New Zealand Racing Board to host totalisator race meetings.

Join us at Rangiora Raceway, where our thrilling races take place during the daytime, usually on weekends. We recently concluded the Finals of the Anne Thompson Memorial Graduation Series, witnessing the triumph of two promising horses. Sweet Coco, trained by Team Dalgety and driven by Carter, emerged victorious in the pacers final. Meanwhile, Celtic Arden, trained by Robert and Jenna Dunn and skillfully driven by John, claimed the trot final. This series has been a tremendous success, offering a generous stake of $17,000 for maiden horses.

As the season comes to an end, we eagerly anticipate our next race day on Sunday, August 27th, and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the course. The Club is currently awaiting a decision on our future after presenting our case to the HRNZ Board.
