"Spent several days here. Fascinating history. 6kms of easy track/boardwalk/cycle trail around the lake perimeter. Clean toilets and it has small rubbish bins. Quite busy with fishermen during the daytime."
"Visited on a clear winters afternoon. Nice way to spend an hour or so. Cycled around the track. There have been a lot of improvements in the last few years. Easy grade, a mixture of boardwalk and gravel track. Wallers going clockwise, cyclist going anti clockwise, generous width to pass each other. A lot more views of the lake from the track. Easy access from Te Awamutu or Hamilton."
