"I was extremely outraged by the poor customer service that was provided today. Went to house of travel first to see what they could provide and was amazed by the knowledge and care they provided us with. To see what was around we went into Flight Centre Barrington, all the staff looked up and then looked back down. After awkwardly standing there for a couple of minutes one guy said “have a seat i’m on the phone” - so we did. We waited. Waited some more. After one group was finished and the lady cleaned up, no one had even acknowledged our presence. We had to just walk out in the end. Working in a customer service environment I know how to treat your clients and customers and this just was not it. For a company that “strives” off customer service, this was heavily disappointing. Will not be using these guys or their other branches and would HIGHLY recommend going to House of Travel which is just two doors down. I hope this goes further because these are the people that work with tourists and I’d be ashamed to see this happen to them. This is not the Kiwi way."
