Scuola Montessori Preschool in Tauranga is a welcoming and inclusive educational institution located at 112 Waihi Road Judea. With a second location in Masterton, our school is proud to offer a unique and enriching Montessori education to children aged 12 months to 6 years.

Derived from the Italian word meaning "school," Scuola Montessori is inspired by the renowned Italian educationalist, Maria Montessori. Our philosophy centers around creating a homelike, peaceful, and loving environment that fosters a love for learning and encourages children to become responsible and peaceful citizens of their world.

At Scuola Montessori, we believe in a teacher-run, child-led community. We work closely with parents, caregivers, and the wider community to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children. Our mission is to support each child in becoming their unique individual selves.

Our Tauranga campus at 112 Waihi Road Judea is housed in a beautiful, sustainable natural setting. Our purpose-built Montessori preschool at 182 Fifteenth Avenue offers a home-like environment with a unique partially covered outdoor play area for year-round use. Both campuses provide numerous interactive indoor and outdoor learning experiences, including gardening, caring for pets, cooking, practical life exercises, art, and music.
