Conveniently situated at our Windermere Campus, our centre is open to children from both the community and Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga students and staff. With easy access from a quiet cul de sac, drop-offs and pick-ups are hassle-free even on busy days.

At Toi Ohomai Childcare Centre, we cater to children aged six months to six years, offering separate age-appropriate areas to meet their individual learning and developmental needs. Our diverse community of whānau from all over the Bay of Plenty enriches our learning environment, and we prioritize building warm and strong relationships between our tamariki, whānau, and Kaiako/teachers.

Nature plays a significant role in our teaching philosophy, and our spacious outdoor play areas provide ample opportunities for children to connect with the natural world, explore, discover, and make sense of their surroundings.

Our centre is divided into two spaces: the under 2's area for newborns to approximately 2 years old, and the over 2's area for children aged 2 to 6 years. We believe in valuing each child's uniqueness and providing them with the support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially, and creatively. By building on their strengths, interests, and curiosities, we guide them to explore the world and develop new abilities while forming close relationships.
