Bay Salsa was formed in 2003 by a passionate group of volunteers and dance enthusiasts who love salsa. We started as a small group, meeting regularly to learn new moves and share our knowledge with one another. Over the years, we have played a significant role in growing the Latin Dancing scene in Tauranga. In fact, we are proud organizers of the Bay Salsa Festival, which is the second-largest Latin Dance Festival in New Zealand.
