Welcome to The Silversmiths' Guild of Canterbury Inc, located at 39C Tanner Street in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are an establishment and point of interest dedicated to the art of working with precious and semi-precious metals.

If you have ever been interested in learning the craft of silversmithing, then you have come to the right place. The Guild offers a range of jewellery classes suitable for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to explore this fascinating art form or an experienced silversmith wanting to refine your techniques, we have a class for you.

Our classes are held at our Studio at The Tannery in Woolston. With flexible scheduling, you can choose to attend classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, or Thursday mornings. Our experienced instructors will guide you through each level, from Level 1 for beginners, to Level 2 for intermediate learners, and finally Level 3 for advanced silversmiths.

In addition to our classes, we also have a vibrant community of Silversmiths' Guild Members. As a member, you will have access to studio time, members' workshops, and many more exciting opportunities to further your skills and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Membership is available upon completion of our Level 1 and Level 2 courses, and you can even take on the challenge of a Level 3 class to showcase your advanced silversmithing abilities.
