"Went a got a wof done through them, they didn’t even adjust the headlights like all my other mechanics would have, I haven’t had the car for long by the time it was due for a wof, fixed my tail light which all it was, the light wasn’t sitting in properly if they had looked, I can’t adjust the headlights myself as I don’t have a machine to tell me where it needs to sit correctly for when I turn the lights on, tried to re book but they do not respond back so I took it else where and I will not be returning, they also went through my centre consol, I always keep it closed, you don’t need to go through that to pass a wof"

"My car had just started over heating on a Thursday morning so I had taken it to another mechanic originally just to get a full service to see if that would fix the issue but it didn't and my car started over heating again on the drive back home. When I got home I started searching online to find a mechanic closer to home and when I typed in "mechanic near me" Te Rapa Automotive was the first one that popped up. It was around 4:50pm (Thursday) when I called up to see if they had available spaces knowing full well that this late in the week and arvo... chances are they wouldn't til the following week. But I was wrong and Mike had decided to squeeze my car in the very next morning. I gave them my car keys the next morning at 9am and had my car keys back to me by that same afternoon! I was extremely impressed at how fast and efficient these guys were but the whole experience was great from the minute I called up. They ran the car through the dyno to see what the issue was and as soon as it was found they called to inform me of what it was and the full cost of everything before starting to give me a chance to say yes or no. I now have my new go to mechanic. These guys are trust worthy and efficient... don't need anything else in a mechanic. 10 out of 10 team"

"Amazing services! Customer service is amazing and prompt. Very honest, quotes are spot on with no surprises. They have a drop box for your keys if you’re not confident driving a faulty vehicle during day-time traffic. As a female, owning a car and trusting mechanics to be up front and honest has been hard. At the prime age of 30 I can say I’ve finally found a good one! I just love this place and although I hope not to have to see them often, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Bonus points: Afterpay!"

"I'm what you call a painful customer, and I don't part with my easily. The gentleman at the shop treated me fairly, walked me through my options, provided great advice free of charge, and did excellent repairs. They also returned me the car looking better then I gave it to the 11 out of 10 in my humble opinion. Money well spent!"
