"I did a stand up gig here a number of months ago. It's a cool little theater with a great vib. That night the locals came out in force and I suspect that happens a lot. Certainly made easier by what the put on through out the year. The toilets are clean (that's important) The food and bar staff friendly. There a couple of foods places close for those eating on the run but it's pretty popular so there can be a long wait (as advised by the locals) I like the place that's for sure."
"The shows they put on at Artworks theatre are of a very high standard. But the building itself is a converted Mitre 10 wood store which the community valiantly try to maintain with inadequate funding from the Auckland Council. You'll still love the shows though. I've performed there at least a hundred times"
