To ensure a smooth payment process, we offer the option to process credit card payments over the phone or allow you to pay the invoice online before collecting your vehicle. Established in 1970, Ray Haslar Autohaus has become a renowned approved collision repairer and refinisher for Prestige European Motor Vehicles. In the late 1980s, we were honored to be appointed New Zealand's first Approved collision repairer for Mercedes Benz. Subsequently, we obtained approvals for other esteemed brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Skoda. We take immense pride in being New Zealand's sole Approved Collision repairers for Bentley and Lamborghini.

"I only made a small purchase. I was extremely impressed by how competent, fun and proactive everyone I dealt with was. It started with someone who I'm pretty sure was another customer opening the door for me and saying "Welcome to Ray Haslar". Then the office person berating a staff member for finishing a job rather than helping me immediately, and then then being super friendly and honest about wait times etc. Also extremely fast and through."
"Extremely poor service. Got claim approved and the staff forgot to book it in. I assumed that it had been booked in for 2 months later, as was initially advised. I then followed up 1.5months later and no response. I followed up again a week later and they had forgot to book it in, advised a new date of further 3 months later. Are you kidding me? 5 months later to get a ding fixed? I sent them an email that this is unacceptable, a straight up cold response that this is what it is and you are free to go else where. What sort of service is this? I came here here because of the time frame they had advised, I also came here for their reputation which doesn’t seem like it’s living up to the expectation. I have now escalated the matter to their director “Stefan”, I’m now hoping that they sort it out and expedite the process, I am more than willing and happy to rectify my review if they are able to rectify the situation that they have put me under."
"Amazing service. They are quite booked for a bumper damage. They told me 2 weeks, was done in a week and a half. When I went to pick it up, car looked fab, they had gone through the trouble to vacuum it up, tidy it up and charge it in full. I am very happy with the result and would definitely recommend them to anyone."
"I recently got caught in some very tight inner Auckland roadworks. While driving through the roadworks a metal road sign fell on our car. This caused scrape marks across the rear passenger door and wheel arch, it was pretty annoying and upsetting given how new the car was. Anyway, Ray Hasler said to come in and they could have a quick look at it. While I waited one of their team came out and fixed it in less that 20mins. They managed to polish out any marks, then did a tiny amount of black detail painting. They totally sorted it, with zero fuss. The team were kind, fast, and professional, it turned my day around. "Absolutely Poor Service, Ruthless Service On 15 July 2022, I logged a claim through my insurance company for a minor issue - scratched the right hand side bumper by reversing the car. I was told by the staff that the whole bumper has to be replaced and this part has to be imported from Germany. Also due to their busy work schedule, they booked me 2 months later to start this job - 12/09/2022. Fine, agreed with this. I finally dropped my car in the early morning on 12/09/2022 (Monday) - nightmare started. I was told I have to wait 1.5 weeks to pick up the car, which the job has to be done the latest on 21/09/2022 (the next Wednesday). I accepted it, although I feel it was a little bit slow for them to finish this job. However, no one told me it was delayed till I called. I was told it was delayed till that Friday 23/09/2022. However, again on 23/09/2022 no one contacted me, till 28/09/2022 I contacted them again. They realised that the car was in the shop for almost 3 weeks. I reminded them that I have noticed that my car battery was in a critical low condition ( from the car auto message). Finally, the job was rushed on that day. From the whole period I haven't received any assistance, such as offering me a spare car to drive. I went to them because it was a Mercedes Benz authorized and recommended shop. But I suffered and I've just gone through a terrified experience as a customer. It strongly affected my work and daily life during the last 3 weeks. I asked for a discount as compensation for my excess payment because of this poor service, it was simply rejected. No other follow ups or proposal received since. Regards, Rong"
