Welcome to Irmgard Ritchie Kindergarten, a renowned establishment located in Upper Hutt, McLeod Street, 88a. Our kindergarten is named after Irmgard Ritchie, a dedicated teacher and director who played a pivotal role in the establishment of a purpose-built kindergarten for the children of the Upper Hutt community.

At Irmgard Ritchie Kindergarten, we take pride in our spacious outdoor area adorned with magnificent mature trees and a continually developing garden. This provides our children and families with ample opportunities to learn about and appreciate the importance of caring for the environment. One of the highlights for our children is the chance to climb and jump from the large willow tree in our playground, fostering a sense of adventure and exploration.
