"The Auckland Airport shop isn't a standout. Remnants and odd season. Cheery salespeople though. We went to test the lifetime guarantee of icebreaker socks which had developed holes. We came away without the promised replacements because they didn't stock them - even though they were bought in that shop. We had no proof of purchase from two years ago so even if they had the socks we would have failed. Icebreaker is icebreaker right? So I don't think private equity ownership has done this brand any favours. Quality not as good as it was either. There are better offerings for merino clothing."
"Not sure it's worth the effort and distance to view their stock to be honest. A lot on offer, but the prices are still pretty steep. A couple of hats and scarves were decent value, but if you're looking at more substantial clothing then you'll be spending a good amount here."
