Welcome to Howick Little Theatre, located at 1 Sir Lloyd Drive in Auckland, New Zealand. Established in 1954, we are one of Auckland's most prominent community theatres and a leading company in New Zealand. Each year, we stage five main-house plays, many of which are premieres, attracting audiences from all over Auckland and the upper North Island.

In addition to our main-house productions, we also offer acting classes for individuals aged six years and above. Led by a leading professional in the field, these classes provide an opportunity for aspiring actors to develop their skills and grow in their craft. We also host development workshops with renowned professionals from the theatre community, offering valuable insights and training opportunities.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce our inaugural season of Howick Little Plays. This collection of short plays celebrates invention and imagination, offering a diverse range of stories that are both funny and poignant. There truly is something for everyone in this eclectic mix of performances.

Lastly, we would like to congratulate Dame Miranda Harcourt, our esteemed workshop tutor, on her recognition in the 2023 New Year's Honours. She has been named a Dame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her exceptional contributions to the screen industry and theatre. We are proud to have her as part of our team.
