Welcome to The Salvation Army in Wellington, Upper Hutt, New Zealand! As a church and place of worship, we are dedicated to serving our community and providing support to those in need. Each year, we assist over 120,000 families and individuals by offering budgeting advice, food and clothing assistance, life skills programs, and other forms of comfort and support.

At The Salvation Army, our mission is to care for people, transform lives, and reform society. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Our Territorial Commander has approved various appointments that will further strengthen our ability to fulfill our mission.

The High Council chamber at our institution is a sacred place of prayer, where delegates from diverse backgrounds come together to participate in important discussions and decisions. Recently, we held a conference called Thought Matters 2023, which saw a wide range of participants engaging in thought-provoking discussions. We are thrilled to announce that our Keynote Speaker for this year's conference will be joining us.

The Salvation Army is also actively involved in addressing pressing issues in our society. We have been urging politicians to explain their plans for reducing child poverty and advocating for solutions to address jobs, incomes, and tax concerns. Our Social Policy and Parliamentary Unit has been at the forefront of these efforts.

We are excited to announce that new appointments have been approved by our Territorial Commander, which will take effect in January 2024. These appointments will further strengthen our ability to serve our community and make a difference in people's lives.
