Welcome to Silverdale Playcentre in New Zealand! Located at 19 Wainui Road in Silverdale, our establishment is a point of interest and school that caters to families with children aged 0 to 6 years.

At Silverdale Playcentre, we believe in the power of family and community. Families come together here, forming lifelong friendships and creating a supportive network. Unlike other early childhood education organizations, our teachers are actually the parents and caregivers of our students. This unique approach allows us to nurture the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) through child-led play.

Our playcentre is a vibrant and diverse learning environment. Each parent brings their own set of skills, interests, and cultural background, enriching the educational experience for everyone involved. We believe that learning is not just limited to the classroom but can happen in every moment of play.

Our sessions run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. During this time, children have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and explore their interests in a safe and supportive environment. Our dedicated teachers and parent volunteers are always there to facilitate learning and provide guidance when needed.

"E tūtaki ana ngā kapua o te rangi, kei runga te Mangōroa e kōpae pū ana" is a Maori proverb that translates to "The clouds in the sky gather, but above them extends the Milky Way." This proverb symbolizes the infinite possibilities and potential for growth that exists within each child.
