About the Business
Welcome to Silverdale School, located at Longmore Lane in New Zealand. We are an establishment that serves as a point of interest and a primary school. Our mission is to actively prepare each child to take responsibility for their own life-long learning, values, and behavior, in partnership with the home and community.
As a school in a thriving community, we actively seek and promote opportunities for our students to engage in sporting, cultural, and academic exchanges with local schools and within specific clusters and our local environment. We believe that these experiences help to shape well-rounded individuals who are ready to take on the challenges of the future.
We are proud to offer a range of programs and activities to support the growth and development of our students. From our Father's Morning or Significant Adult Morning, where fathers or significant male figures can come and be a part of their children's learning, to our Ako ki te Haere – Haere ki te Ako (Learn to Journey – Journey to Learn) philosophy, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

Our school operates on a term basis, with Term 1 running from Tuesday 7 February to Thursday 6 April, Term 2 from Monday 24 April to Friday 30 June, Term 3 from Monday 17 July to Friday 22 September, and Term 4 from Monday 9 October to Tuesday 19 December.

"Looking at such a mess and traffic the other day around the school, which is artificially created by odd road rules (inside the school).This all left me with no doubts that this school made it all impossible for public to enter the school. If you come early you are still in the traffic, and later also. The traffic goes in the conjunction with Silverdale Kindergarten too, which creates twice as much traffic problems there. My advice open the gates for Kindergarten people in the afternoon and take the STOP entrance sign off, it will make everybody's life much easier."
