"Mari came out to look at upholstering bucket seats for a Morris ute project that I have been working on. She was polite, punctual and professional. She offered advice on what she thought the best way to achieve the look I was after, which material to use and offered a range of cost options for me to consider. She told me up front that there would be an extended wait time and booked me in. She also picked up and delivered my seats with quite a reasonable delivery fee given my Melbourne location. I am really happy with the workmanship and appreciated the regular updates on progress. I would have no hesitation to recommend Mari in the future."

"Unfortunately I cannot comment about Mari's upholstering abilities. We did not even get to that. After confirming Mari's quote and waiting two months, we finally came to pick up day. It was set to be a Saturday because of miscommunication between us about my location. It was very good of Mari to offer to pick up and drop off our furniture, despite my offers to do at least one of those trips. My family set aside precious weekend time to be home to meet Mari. She contacted me a couple of hours before and cancelled, saying a family emergency had come up and we rescheduled to Sunday. This was not ideal for my family, as we had already changed our weekend plans to be home at midday on Saturday, but we understand sometimes family things come up unexpectedly. Mari asked for us to be home "around midday" again on Sunday. By 11.30am Sunday I had not heard from her at all, despite emailing her to try and get confirmation early Sunday morning. She emailed around midday to say she wouldn't be making it today either, with no suggestion of when she could. We spent our weekend waiting around for Mari to turn up "around midday" both days to no avail. I will be taking our furniture to an upholsterer with clear and timely communication skills and far better customer service. I only wish I had done this 8 weeks ago when I first made arrangements with Mari! I'd have refurbished furniture by now."
