Welcome to Bendigo Violet Street Primary YMCA Before and After School Program! Located at Ironbark, Old Violet Street, 91, our establishment is a point of interest that offers quality care for children aged between five and 12 years old who are enrolled in primary school.

As part of the Bendigo Violet Street Primary School community in Bendigo, Victoria, we are proud to provide the YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program. This program is run by YMCA Children's Programs, which is a part of YMCA Victoria.

Our OSHC program is designed to complement your child's school experience by offering engaging activities and opportunities to socialize with peers. We offer a variety of planned and spontaneous activities that help children develop life skills and enhance their autonomy. These activities are tailored to support each child's individual interests and ideas.

In addition to our enriching programs, we also provide healthy and delicious snacks. Breakfast is served in the morning, and afternoon tea is provided after school.

At Bendigo Violet Street Primary YMCA Before and After School Program, the safety and wellbeing of your child are our highest priorities. We are an accredited child-safe organization with safeguarding and quality standards embedded across all our services. During the coronavirus (COVID-19) period, we have implemented additional hygiene measures to ensure the health and safety of children, families, and staff. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are recruited, trained, and supported to provide the best care for the children and young people in our programs and services.

To accommodate the needs of our families, we offer both permanent and casual booking options. Please note that casual bookings do incur an additional cost.

For your convenience, our OSHC services at Bendigo Violet Street Primary qualify for the Federal Government's Child Care Subsidy. This subsidy helps eligible families access approved and registered child care providers by partially subsidizing the cost of daily fees. Please keep in mind that the prices listed above do not include any child care subsidy you may be entitled to, which could significantly reduce your out-of-pocket expenses.
