"I first went here about twelve years ago when I worked in Castlemaine to buy my mother a Christmas present. I bought a couple of extra soaps for myself and was surprised as how much less slimy than supermarket soaps they felt. They also lasted considerably longer. I've since moved away from the area, but I've continued to buy my soaps here ever since and regular presents for my mother. Either in person on the rate location I go to Castlemaine, or more often over the phone to be posted. The service is always excellent and I find the prices really good value because the products last so much longer."
"My sister had highly recommended Drummond Body Care but unfortunately they aren't open on Sundays, which was when I visited Castlemaine. However, by some miracle they were on the second Sunday. So I popped in. One of the owners assisted me in my selection, and she couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. And then a marvellous kerfuffle broke out. A large blue tongue lizard was found and needed to be evicted! That took quite some doing and I got some fab footage on my phone. Anyway, the cleanser/moisturiser/exfoliator I got is really good. My sister gave me a hand cream a while back and that was excellent. With or without the native wildlife, recommended!"
"What a fantastic little shop! Full of all manner of natural body care products in a cute apothecary style. Everything from cradle cap soap for babies, to essential oils, scented soaps, gardener's hand cream, scented body wash. And all of it with only natural ingredients, no petroleum products, sodium laurel sulphate or any of the stuff you don't want in there. What a treasure trove! I loved it. I had just been saying I wanted to find some honeysuckle oil and hadn't seen it anywhere until we came upon this place. I was SO pleased to find it and got the honeysuckle body wash too. Very happy!"
