Welcome to Sports Central, located at 39 Barkly Street in Ballarat East, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are proud to offer a wide range of sporting opportunities and programs for the local community.

We are excited to announce our partnership with Learmonth Football Netball Club, Waubra Football Netball Club, Central Highlands Football League, and Tackle Your Feelings to conduct the 2023 Tackle Your Feelings Cup. This event aims to promote mental health awareness in sports and bring together teams from various clubs.

In addition, Ballarat District Golf recently hosted the 2023 MyGolf Junior league competition. This five-week competition, held alongside the local Junior Pennant season, provided a platform for young boys and girls to showcase their golfing skills. With a total of 79 participants throughout the season, it was a great success.

This winter, we are proud to support Regional Sport Victoria's Stride into Sport campaign. This initiative aims to encourage more people to join sporting clubs by highlighting the available opportunities and addressing any barriers that may exist.

We would like to congratulate the Carngham Linton Football Netball Club for organizing a Tackle Your Feelings program in early May. This program brought together coaches and club leaders to raise awareness about mental health and its importance in the sporting community.

To further support community organizations, including sporting clubs and associations, Ballarat East Neighbourhood House is offering two workshops on the updated Victorian Child Safe Standards. These workshops will provide an overview of the standards and practical steps that can be taken to implement them.

This ten-week health program, offered for free, empowers women to prioritize their well-being by providing them with the necessary tools and knowledge.
