We are proud to offer our services to clients referred under Medicare with a current Mental Health Care Plan, as well as those covered by the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Workcover, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - whether plan managed or self-managed. Additionally, we welcome self-referred clients seeking privately funded assistance.

Our team of experienced professionals specializes in conducting psychometric assessments, including Cognitive (IQ), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), personality, and other clinical diagnostic assessments. We also provide various therapeutic approaches, such as supportive counseling, Trauma Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, and Relaxation.

When you visit Peers Psychology, you'll find a comfortable and welcoming environment equipped with sensory items, fidgets, puzzles, games, and art supplies to cater to your specific needs. Clients of all ages can enjoy this space and feel at ease during their sessions.

Our fees for standard sessions are $180 for a 50-60 minute consultation, with couples sessions priced at $200 per appointment. Payment is required on the day of your consultation and can be made via our convenient EFTPOS facilities. We are also able to process Medicare rebates for eligible clients with a valid mental health care plan, or you may choose to claim the rebate yourself by presenting the invoice to Medicare.

Please note that assessments are not covered by Medicare and are privately funded. After your initial consultation, you will receive an invoice for any assessments discussed with your clinician. Once the deposit (report fee) is paid, you can schedule your assessment dates. TAC and Workcover services are charged at $200 per session and can be claimed back from your insurer using the provided invoice. NDIS clients are charged according to NDIS guidelines.

We kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel an appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows will incur a $70 fee, which must be paid before scheduling your next appointment. To ensure the accuracy of your appointment time, we will send you a text message the day before your session to confirm.
