"I ordered a watch band at the Bendigo store and was told that it would be quicker for it to be transferred from the Warrnambool store than to have it come from the supplier. The time indication was a week and was promised that they would text when it arrived. Two weeks later I rang and was told that it wasn’t in the store yet but would probably arrive the next week. The following week I rang again and it became apparent that it hadn’t been ordered from the Warrnambool store. I was promised that they would follow it up and would ring me back that afternoon. Not hearing anything, I rang again the following day and was told that it would be in the Bendigo store the following mid week and they would send a text when it arrived. The weekend after the promised date, my father went at 2pm to check because we still hadn’t heard anything but found the store closed. The closing time on the door was listed as 3pm. He could see staff inside, so he knocked. He said he had come for the watchband and was told it had arrived but it couldn’t be fitted until Monday. I couldn’t go to the store that week but still didn’t receive a notification. Finally the week after I got a text to say the band had arrived and to come in and get it fitted. Many weeks following the initial order, the band was fitted. The workmanship was great but the poor communication and lack of follow up made the experience unpleasant and so we won’t go back there again."
