At Journey Sebastopol, we understand the importance of a smooth school transition. Our Kindergarten classrooms are intentionally designed to align with Journey Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Curriculum, ensuring that every child is prepared for school. Our Government Approved Funded 3 and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Classrooms are led by ACCEQA approved Early Childhood Teachers and Qualified Educators, providing ongoing support to children in our 4-Year-Old Kinder Program through our School Readiness Program.

I'm Melissa, the Centre Manager at Journey Early Learning in Sebastopol. With 13 years of experience in caring for and educating children, I am passionate about supporting, encouraging, and inspiring our families, educators, and children every day. As a mother of three young children and holding a Diploma in Children's Services & Bachelor of Education prep-10, I am dedicated to creating an environment that promotes a sense of belonging, support, and warmth. At Journey Sebastopol, we believe that nature is the greatest teacher. That's why nature-based play is a core part of our curriculum. It teaches children vital life skills such as confidence, independence, exploration, and cooperation. Playing outside also promotes health and wellbeing while instilling respect for the environment.
